Beauty-first lip tape

I wanted the benefits of lip tape. I hated how it looked.

Hushee turns a useful nighttime habit into something designed, gentle, and a little less awkward to wear. Our first sample run is testing two soft silhouettes — Soft Wave and Petal Curve — in one quiet Hushee blush.

Not a strip you hide. A nighttime object designed to feel calm, personal, and beautiful enough to belong on your face.

First-look teaser

A softer way to introduce the ritual.

A short vertical mood cut brings the Hushee blush world into the page before the product details. It keeps the launch feeling beauty-led, calm, and shareable.

Founder story

The problem was never the ritual. It was how it made me feel.

The idea for Hushee started from a small, awkward moment: wearing lip tape around people and realizing how easy it was to feel embarrassed by something that was supposed to help.

I wanted the benefits of lip tape. I hated how it looked. Hushee exists to make that same nighttime habit feel intentional, gentle, and beauty-led instead of clinical.

Brand reason

Redesign the category around dignity, softness, and the face.

Why Hushee

Lip tape should feel designed, not improvised.

Most tape is shaped like a utility strip. Hushee starts from the face: softer curves, better visual balance, and a product experience that belongs in a beauty routine.

  • Two distinct shapes instead of one generic band
  • One soft blush color direction instead of separate color moods
  • Conservative self-care language with no medical claims
Generic strip

One straight shape asks every face to adapt to the product.

Hushee launch shapes

Soft Wave and Petal Curve give the ritual a softer visual language.

Launch products

The first design-led approach to lip tape.

Hushee isn't about two color moods. It's about making lip tape look intentional on the face. Soft Wave and Petal Curve are the first shapes moving into sample testing.

How it works

A small step for the last few minutes before bed.

The ritual stays simple: clean skin, choose a shape, place gently, remove slowly, and discard after use.

01

Start clean

Apply only to clean, dry, unbroken skin.

02

Choose shape

Pick Soft Wave or Petal Curve for the feel you want that night.

03

Place gently

Position softly over closed lips without stretching the tape.

04

Remove slowly

Discard after use and stop immediately if irritation occurs.

Testing notes

What we're testing now.

Hushee is still in development. The first sample work focuses on the consumer experience: how it looks, how gently it holds, and how comfortable it feels before sleep.

Minimum width

The current development guardrail is 70 mm+ so the shape feels intentional on the face.
